It is revealing that people who call themselves “vegan activists” promote the idolization of Gary Yourofsky, someone who is not vegan and whose discourse justifies exploitation, including the killing of animals. The videos included in this post show his own statements supporting the culling of predators animals.

Granting “moral agency” to animals only to later legitimize killing and exterminating them is not veganism, it is exactly the opposite.

This is the root of today’s confusion: when the ideological reference point is not vegan, the outcome will not be vegan either.
